I teach English composition to early college high school and community college students, writers who create some of the best, eye opening writing I have the fortune to read. 

Working Title: The Sometimes Electric

Being new is never easy, especially after moving from the tropics to California's dry Central Valley. When Ruth meets Opal and Roy, they write songs to navigate their uncertain futures, but will the band last long enough to make it out of the valley together?
